The legal bit, in plain English

Terms of use

What Kendal.io is

Kendal.io measures how AI answer engines name businesses, and helps businesses improve that. Our public AI Visibility Leaderboards report what those engines said for a given market on a given date. They are provided for information.

What the leaderboards are, and are not

Corrections

We want the boards to be accurate. If your business is named and something is wrong, or you believe you have been left off in error, email hello@kendal.io. We will check it against the underlying data and correct any genuine error quickly. We do not, however, change a ranking for payment or on request without the data supporting it.

Links to other websites

As a courtesy, we link listed businesses to their own websites. Those sites are not ours and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. A link is not an endorsement.

No warranty

We work hard to be accurate and we deliberately under-claim rather than over-claim. Even so, the site and the leaderboards are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. AI systems are imperfect and change often. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from relying on the information here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Using our content

The text, design, data and branding on this site are ours. You are welcome to link to our pages and quote a reasonable amount with credit. Please do not scrape, copy or republish our leaderboards or content wholesale without asking first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute falls to the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its date, always lives here.
